Decided to go there as we wanted something to eat and there were good reviews on Trip Advisor. However, when we arrived, we were told they were no longer serving food! Not impressed.

We had a chilled out afternoon in the garden. There was an inflatable castle in the garden too for the kids to enjoy!

So, I popped in for a quick pint on a Thursday night on my way somewhere.
Locals were crowding the entrance having fags which always makes an impression.
Made my way to the bar and served straight away 👌
Just green king ipa available at best is only ever ok. This was ok.
Locals inside were "colourful", with random dog wondering about. One "local" announced he was leaving for 15 minutes.
Strange seating arrangement with chairs just around the outside, which gave it a "residential home" feeling.

Don't go out alot cause I work in a bar and don't get out much but I had great time had a lil too much and the landlord told me where the line was . Very respectful of his staffs boundaries. A very friendly Irish fella but looks after his people which goes along way for me as a bar manager i love to see places look after the workers more than the customers when we've had to much to drink. Highly recommended five stars

Our first time eating out for lunch. Great selection of starters, mains and dessrts. Grill menu and snacks as well as specials. Plenty of fantastic outside covered seating with heating. We chose Pork belly starter and white bait starters. I also had 2 garlic Prawns off the specials...Absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault anything and could've eaten more of them.
I then chose Chicken and Avocodo Tortilla salad bowl, my husband chose the house steak burger, that had triple cooked chips and red cabbage slaw with it. Absolutely scrumptious. I polished mine off, not the tortilla though, too full.
We had plenty of drinks and thought the service was fantastic. We've booked to go again to try the Sunday Lunch in a few weeks. Highly recommend trying this pub since being taken over. They've clearly gone to great lengths to make the place a pleasurable experience under such trying circumstances. We felt really looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our experience of outside dining.

Had a delicious lunch here with a friend today. Really enjoyed it. Super newly built attractive outside area (undercover) with heaters and bar. All the staff were really lovely, service good and food freshly cooked and delicious. Can highly recommend and will certainly be back!
